The Hauenstein Institute (HI) is building a dynamic portfolio of projects and programmes designed to cultivate regenerative leadership and stimulate innovation across our Clusters and Hubs. Alongside our groundbreaking UnLearning Leadership Programme, we are developing a suite of pilots and Co‑Labs that translate HI’s intellectual frameworks into practical, scalable interventions.
Under Humanistic Management, the Humanity in Complexity Leadership Programme offers a six‑session course for emerging leaders across sectors. Using the GENE method, participants explore the foundations of regenerative leadership: understanding the leadership GENE, grounding in community, emerging ethical reflection, navigating complexity, effecting literacy for multiple futures, and cultivating humanistic, sustainability‑aware leadership. The outcome will be a tested, scalable programme ready for deployment across Hubs.
Within Leadership Competency Models, the Flourishing Organisational Leadership Programme partners with a single institution to apply the HI Flourishing Diagnostic, run a futures workshop, and co‑design a regenerative intervention—resulting in a practical case study of institutional transformation. Complementing this, the Leadership for Shared Prosperity Co‑Lab pilots a cross‑sector innovation sprint focused on fairness, economic inclusion, and regenerative business models, generating early prototypes and new partnerships.
In Integral Regeneration, the Regenerative Communities Co‑Lab partners with a local community to map a challenge, prototype a regenerative solution, and build cross‑sector collaboration—creating a visible demonstration of HI’s regenerative ethos.
For Inclusive Sustainability, the 16 Step Institutional Sustainability Cycle brings together practitioners working at the intersection of sustainability, equity, and community development, building a network of early champions and a tested model of collaboration.
Finally, the HI Futures Co‑Lab offers a 1–2 day immersive exploration of possible and preferred futures, creating a signature, scalable experience for all Hubs.
