Hubs are the Hauenstein Institute’s place‑based centres of activity—flexible, outward‑facing locations that anchor our work in real communities, organisations, and ecosystems. Because HI’s mission is inherently relational and practice‑based, we operate from a variety of locations that reflect where our initial and emerging projects are situated. Each Hub serves as a local gateway for partnership, experimentation, and applied learning.
Every Hub is led by a Hub Lead, responsible for identifying opportunities, cultivating relationships, and developing a portfolio of projects that can be delivered through that location. These projects may include leadership development programmes, community‑based initiatives, organisational consultancy, diagnostics, or regenerative innovation work. Hub Leads act as connectors—bridging local needs with HI’s intellectual programmes and operational capacities.
Importantly, Hubs do not operate in isolation. Projects developed in one Hub may have relevance for other regions or sectors, allowing insights, methods, and innovations to travel across locations. For this reason, Hub Leads work in close collaboration with one another, as well as with the Cluster Directors, ensuring that learning flows across the whole Institute. This interconnected approach allows HI to remain responsive to local contexts while maintaining coherence across its broader mission.
The initial Hubs and their Leads will be listed soon below, forming the foundation of a growing network that will expand as new partnerships and opportunities emerge. Together, the Hubs create a distributed, adaptive infrastructure that enables HI to deliver regenerative leadership development where it is most needed—locally grounded, globally connected, and always oriented toward long‑term flourishing.
